Chemico was established in 1968 (Previously National Paints & Chemicals Factory Co. Ltd.) producing a wide range of premium and quality products in various chemical fields and has consistently added more products and principals to its portfolio to fully serve the needs of the end user.
Chemico is the main industrial Company in the Group and the leading paint manufacturer in Yemen. The Company has enjoyed three phases of expansions, the latest of which was to a 100,000 square meter site in 1990.
The Company currently manufactures a wide range of paint including Emulsions, Enamels, Putties, Sealers, Primers, Textured Paints, Acrylics, Varnishes, Glues & Adhesives, Epoxies, Polyurethane Coatings, Anti-Fouling Paints, Wood Coatings (Synthetic & Nitrocellulose) and Thinners.
In addition to the above, Chemico has a toiletries division which produces a number of products under the popular brand “Flash”. Chemico also has a car care products division within its manufacturing plant producing Brake Fluid for cars which was originally under license from British Petroleum (BP).

Shield: Under license from ICI paints, UK – Akzonobel, Holland since 1978. Wide range of water based & solvent based products for internal & external applications.
Chemico: Manufacturer under various brands including; Titan, Rocket, Suncoat, Pioneer and Hawki.
